Dr. Bill Asimacopoulos, D.C.
Dr. Bill Asimacopoulos completed his undergraduate studies at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA with a Bachelor’s of Science in biology. After a sports injury sidelined him, Dr. Asimacopoulos received his first chiropractic treatment and immediately knew that is what he wanted to specialize in. He then moved to Atlanta and graduated suma cum laude with his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University in March 1999. Going back to his hometown of Fredericksburg, VA after graduation, Dr. Asimacopoulos has been certified by the Commonwealth of Virginia Board of Medicine to practice chiropractic since July 1999.
In Fredericksburg, he worked with another doctor for five years before starting his own practice in 2005. He has specialized in both chiropractic and decompression therapy since then.
Dr. Asimacopoulos is trained in the most widely used adjusting techniques such as Diversified, Gonstead, Thompson, Activator, Toggle, Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT) and Extremity adjusting. He also has extensive training in pediatrics and pre-natal care-he has adjusted infants who are now driving to their appointments!
Dr. Asimacopoulos has years of experience providing specialized care for patients suffering from disc herniations (cervical and lumbar), sciatica, spinal stenosis, and neuropathy and degenerative changes to the disc and vertebra.
